As you may know (or not) Redken is a brand very present in the backstage. During this day we had a very great workshop and realise this step by step look inspired form the NYFW.

Before starting the hairstyle, they made on me the new Redken salon treatment « HeatCure ».  The Heatcure Professional in-salon is a longterm mask that can be only made in salon for damaged hair. My hair are very very damaged since I bleach them last year. This treatment helped my hair to have a softer texture. During the presentation, they present us 3 major trends. The Beauty, the Sassy & the Wild Spirit looks. They assigned me the « Wild Spirit » look which correspond me perfectly. The wild spirit look is inspired by the models who arrive at the casting with messy, greasy and not brushed hair! I mean it’s all about being wild![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height= »75px »][vc_column_text]

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width= »2/3″][vc_single_image image= »17738″ img_size= »full »][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image= »17739″ img_size= »full »][vc_empty_space height= »50px »][/vc_column][vc_column width= »1/3″][vc_empty_space height= »60px »][vc_column_text]

1.Starting with dry hair.

2.Spray Redken wind blown 05 dry finishing spray all throughout hair for added volume and texture. This mild control volumizing & texturizing dry hair spray will create the airy texture you need before starting.

3.Separate your hair in 4 sections. 2 smalls in the front for the upcoming « twist » and 2 bigs behind. Clamps your hair that way.

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height= »50px »][/vc_column][vc_column width= »3/4″][vc_single_image image= »17740″ img_size= »full »][vc_empty_space height= »50px »][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

And then?

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width= »2/3″][vc_single_image image= »17741″ img_size= »full »][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image= »17742″ img_size= »full »][vc_empty_space height= »50px »][/vc_column][vc_column width= »1/3″][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

4.The biggest part is now and you can’t stop in between while doing it! You have to twist the 2 sections in the back together and then start twisting only one section around the other to create the knot.

Secure with several pins. Leave out the ends to create a messy finished look. Lightly mist the knot with Redken Forceful 23 super strength finishing hairspray .

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height= »50px »][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width= »1/4″][vc_column_text]

5. Take the small strands of hair from the front and create 1 twist on each side. Gently pull the twists on sides of the head and secure them with pins in the knot.

Add to the ends some power grip powder to create body, fullness and instant matte texture!
